"STANley is a character i created to embody the hypercritical, overly judgmental wrestling fan. the kind who scrutinizes every move we make, and every match we put on. growing up, i was that fan. i loved professional wrestling, but i viewed it with a harsh, unforgiving lens. it wasn’t until i stepped into the ring myself that i became fully aware of how toxic that mindset could be. creating STANley was a way to confront that part of myself. a manifestation of the inner critic i’ve tried to silence for years. no matter how far i’ve come, that fan in my head always finds a way back. STANley gives him a voice, so i can better understand, expose, and ultimately challenge that perspective."
